2025 Sprint & 100M Championship Weekend

2024 was unforgettable—athletes from around the world pushed their limits at the debut of the 100M Championship in Hvar.

Join us again in Hvar, Croatia, for a weekend of OCR and cultural immersion at the Sprint 5K & 100M Championship. Conquer swims, floating obstacles, and a climb to the iconic fortress. The course blends rocky shores, stunning beaches, and city running, giving you a unique chance to race through Hvar’s beauty and history.

Spartan Trifecta Weekend
Earn a Trifecta on the island of Hvar, alongside the 100m and Sprint World Championships. Take on the Sprint, 5K Super, and Beast 21K races to earn championship medals and the coveted Trifecta Weekend medal, adding a tally to your Trifecta count. Race through stunning trails, ancient ruins, and pristine beaches in one of the world's most picturesque locations. Enjoy a weekend of celebrations with Hvar's perfect climate, rich culture, and vibrant nightlife. Conquer world-class obstacles and forge new friendships. Elite heats available on Beast 21K and Sprint 5K only.

Sprint World Championships

5K, 20 Obstacles, and a place in Spartan history is on the line. The Sprint World Championship race takes place Sunday, Oct 12th:
Morning:

Pro Championship Heats Men & Women
Age Group Championship Heats Men & Women

Afternoon:

Open Heats

Qualifications:
– Age Group/Open – No qualification
– Pro –Top 25 finish in any event of specific champs race distance or Top 10 finish in any race distance.

What’s on the line:
Pro Championship athletes will compete for a place on the podium and their share of a championship prize purse. Age Group Championship athletes will compete for their place on the Age Group podium.

100M World Champs

The 100M World Championship is our fastest and most intense OCR format yet.

100M, 12 Obstacles:
The 100M World Championship is all about speed, strength and agility. With only a few meters between each obstacles, this event will be all action. Finals will entail a merciless head-to-head knockout format. Expect rivalry, suspense, falls, unseen athletic feats and a one-of-a-kind show to crown the best obstacle specialist in the world.

The 100M course will start in the historical city square of Hvar, facing the Adriatic Sea, culminating with the classic Spartan race finish line on the mediterranean pier.

Qualifications:

Elite is invite/application only
Age Group/Open no qualification necessary

Nominations via OCR National Federations: National Federations have the opportunity to nominate athletes to compete in the Spartan Race 100M Championship by submitting a nomination form to Spartan Race. Applications will be reviewed by Spartan, and all those accepted will receive an email invitation to enter. Please contact your OCR National Federation for further details on nominations.
A limited number of wildcard slots will be available - stay tuned for more info.

Transportation:
The best option for flying to Croatia is the Split Airport (SPU) - 42km from Hvar.

From the airport, take the Split -> Hvar ferry. The ferry has 10 journeys per day, approx €6 -€20 per foot passenger, duration ranging between 50 minutes - 2 hours 25 minutes. Car transport is available.
